Life of Pi

I got a little bit offended when we first watch this movie because it mentions Christianity. My soul get sensitive when they suddenly change the storyline into a bit of religion-ish-tic movie. But after I finished the movie, I'll have to agree that this is another must-watch movie to be seen by a nation.
I was there with at least 4 members of my bestfriends on Tuesday December 11th 2012. Time shows 16.00 when we entered the studio. We have just had lunch together at pizza hut on my pay and 4 other people from the band also watched with us. Karen, me, Christie, Saskia, Meilissa were together while Johanes, Kevin, Justin and Cindy were on the other line. Now, the movie.
It was a good movie. I remembered Pi's father said: "When you stare into a tiger's eye, you will only see the reflection of yourself staring back at you". This story especially teach me to surrender totally to God. Because when we surrender, we will learn to believe HIM wholeheartedly without being distracted to anything else. We don't need to be lost in the sea first like Pi did and loose everything in his life, but we can certainly learn from his story stranded with Richard Parker. Anyway, Richard Parker was the fully grown Bengal tiger which took journey with Pi until they both survied at land. Because Pi was trained to be afraid of those kind of animals, he tend to separate himself from the life-saving boat in order to avoid Richard Parker. But in the end, he overcome his fear by "training" Richard Parker himself with a stick and meat.
I also learn that before it's too late, we should say thankyou to those who have given so much to you even when you didn't feel like they have given any contribution in your life. It is better to be sooner than late.
Seriously, if people didn't appriciate movies enough, they're just gonna say good and dot. Story finishes. But as a good writer, thinker, appriciater and advisor as well, I would love to inspire people to learn about this story even deeper than just knowing who's who and who did what. -red
