Hey Yo Hey Yo!

Sorry kawan-kawan, 2 hari kemaren gue ngga ngupload seperti biasa! Alasan gue sibuk sih ya sebenernya – ngga ada yang laen-laen juga. Selasa aja gue paksain nulis 1 biji padahal udah tepar banget. Jadi hari ini – malem ini lebih tepatnya – gue bakal berusaha tebus 5 posts yang seharusnya udah gue pajang dari 2 hari lalu. Doakan gue kuat sebab ini udah jam 11 malem dan besok gue masih harus sekolah dan bangun jam 5 pagi. Amin.

Langsung aja deh ya tanpa basa basi lagi, poem yang berhasil gue keluarkan dari bendahara gue. Gue bikin ini pas 17an kemaren di sekolah jadi tanggal pembuatannya itu tanggal 19 Agustus 2014. Gatau lagi ketepa apa sih sebenernya, taunya keluar aja inspirasi itu.

Dear Mr. Lucas

I’m glad it was you who lights the path for us

I’m glad it was you who plant us the thoughts to give our very best: every single day

I’m glad that God gave you to us

And made His ways through you

I know that in the coming years teaching won’t be as easy as it was back then;

But hey, is that really what you came here for?

To work the easy way?

In my thoughts I’d say ‘nah, he’ll be alright’

But damn, what do I know?

You’ll only have yourself to blame in the end

I know that when the morning came

One day the birds will not chirp

And the sun won’t shine the way you want it to be

But do you quit just because things go the way you didn’t want it to be?

I prayed that you’ll be the man you hoped to be;

A man of hope and dreams;

A man of your family;

And more importantly – a man of God

I want you to shine as much as you teach;

To SMILE as much as your leaps

To GIVE as much as your throws

To NEVER GIVE UP HOPE on us

And I’ll show you what world you’ve shown me

In return,

I’ll promse you to be true to myself no matter what

I’ll do you proud as much as it’s been a privilege to know you

I’ll make my way to hold my future’s quest and reach my highest dreams

Because it’s such a privilege to teach – you will never know where your influence stops J
