What 2015 Has Been Like

2015 has been like a huge mad crap. Yes, it has definitely been. Let me just tell you why.
1.    A lot of artists are not producing their great work this year. Their works are either a last year bomb or a 2016 to-be kind of thing. Not a lot of exciting thing happened in the music industry though Bieber is dealing better with puberty and Taylor Swift still writes songs for her ex-boyfriends. Oh wait – she’s engaged now, isn’t she? Well, no more ex-boyfriend songs, then.
2.    The K-fever is still on, though it is a little bit decreasing since there are no big K-concerts like what 2014 holds.
3.    Youtube is growing bigger than ever – outnumbering television and even the cinema in some cases. And to Indonesian youtubers who have gotten so famous because of their creative works, thankyou for all of those hard work you’ve done. You’re making the first Indonesian YTFF a special memory of it’s own.
4.    Samsung is still head to head with iPhone and they are weirdly exchanging some physical features. Blackberry is dead, Nokia is bought by microsoft, and other brands such as XiaoMi and Asus are rising to make tablets as well.
5.    Mirrorless camera are getting in its way to make sure the big heavy mostly-black cameras are no longer in major demand.
6.    BSD is the new growing independent city around Tangerang, followed by Alam Sutra. A lot of shit has been built around BSD, including the exciting ICE BSD (which have held a huge automobile exhibition last October and few other events) and AEON mall (which is a Japanese-themed mall).
7.    Another act of terrorism killed helluva lot of people at Paris not so long ago. We were about to bomb the terrorism base in whatever non-existing country it has been on. Greece is falling down instead of the London Bridge due to “kebangkrutan” (Dude. Don’t judge me. I do know what “bangkrut” is in english, tapi daripada malu gara-gara salah cara nulisnya dan mager buat buka kamus, yaudahlah ya cincay).
8.    Indonesia elected it’s 6th president this year which thankfully went well. There were a lot of changes in the cabinet and Obama has been a total dick for legalizing the LGBT thing throughout America. He’s losing his mind I swear.
9.    Eversince their marriage winter last year, Raffi and Gigi has been privileged to make a show of their own family life like some American does. But instead of giving a good face to their marriage, this serial makes me want to throw up. It shows how much their family is not actually that happy; everything is too scripted.
10. Japan today is one of the top tourist destinations because of DisneyLand, Sakura, food, and basically everything.
11. The new soft ice cream is also going big this year – especially with all their innovations with their flavor innovations and gulali (dafuq is “gulali” in english).
12. This is the year bicycles and cars go online. Ever heard the grabshit factory in Indonesia? Yes, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. First there’s go-jek, then there’s blu-jek, grabcar, grabtaxi, grabbike and only God knows what else and which one launches its product out first. The bottomline is that Indonesian people are making helluva money from all sorts of internet-based delivery service – even ‘ojek’s by women. Crazy.
13. Health events which holds running activities has gain a lot of participants in the past 2 years, especially when they promise to give rave parties at the end and such other things like I-don’t-know-what because I’m never interested paying for a one-day run.
Yeah. I guess that’s all for now. I’ll be doing some research on what other things I missed writing about that happened this year. I’ll try to update if I am not too lazy to do so. –red
