Guys Who Notice

There were times in my life when I realized that some guys do notice.
I realized that all along, they have been overseeing some details in people and observing them carefully as they inch towards closeness. They do not use these informations as backfires, but as a caring system they live with so they might help the best way they could when these people needed help. In fact, sometimes they were even the best medicine life can offer when we’re down.
I realized that these guys are just as sincere as I do in terms of giving back to the world. They care about not trashing and breaking more of what had been broken by the laws they were enforced to do. They know they have to do something – and it is just the matter of time when they realized the bomb they were to throw if they care enough.
I realized that they are nice by heart and I can trust them within my barriers and boundaries; between my imprefections. I can count on them on things that we as girls can’t do and tell them they are the ones who is able to do just that. Not because we are weak; but just because we like them to protect us when they are able to do so.
Even though all I’ve got to be is “friends” with such people who notice, their companion would be enough if in those rough times their presence is there, heating my heart up.
Even though we’ll never go further than the word “friends”, friends would be enough because they tend to not break – they just diminish in size as time goes by.
They notice the major things people would never know about me if they didn’t look close enough. They notice the imperfections and treat them as empowerment when I finally need it.
And to teIl you the truth, I am almost always fascinated by them.
I will never want to take their noticing as “creepy” because it’s a way I know they care nor can I take it for granted – who knows how long would it stay in this young days? Though being creepy is what most people thought about these guys (and in earlier days I did too), being creepy is a whole different matter when these two words are compared one on one.
I am grateful for the fact that God never runs out of good guys in this mostly ruined world and I am even more grateful that I had been able to meet them once in my lifetime. –red
