There is a very famous saying by a
phenomenal painter in the world that I love to repeat off to myself and remind
others that I truly care about. It says: “only put off until tomorrow that you
are willing to die having left undone.” That wise saying was said by the one
and only Pablo Picasso, one of the world’s best and historical artists in the
world. Not only that he have shown us masterpieces of his artwork, but also how
he have achieved all his dreams by hard work and pushing aside those things
that kept him away from being the best which also means his doubts of failing.
Laziness is in the top of the
failure chart, the worst enemy in which everyone must admit that once in their
life; there had been some times that each and every one of us have gone through
this moment. Almost everyone that I have found loosing the competition of life
is simply because they were lazy over things they tend to do. Their reaction
towards laziness was “yeah okay, I’ll do it later” instead of “I’m going to do
it now to prevent bad things”. Somehow it is the difference of how your mindset
is made up over your goal. Yet, it wasn’t only laziness that causes us to fail.
I have personally found almost 10 reasons of why some people did not achieve or
get even close to what they dreamed of because of these reasons: LAZINESS, HOLDING
THEIRSELVES BACK, LOW SELF ESTEEM, MINDSET, GOAL, TIME MANAGEMENT, DECIDING
WHICH TASK IS MORE IMPORTANT AT THE MOMENT, and CHARACTER.
All of those reasons I have
mentioned above actually leads to one thing that is the most crucial part of
what everybody have missed when they finally choose to spend their time doing
nothing: failure doesn’t end when you fail to fulfill one task you’re meant to
do when it actually means to be the start of other following failures in the
rest of our life until we manage to take a step backwards and starts fresh.
Seriously, that is what usually happens in our lives, especially teenagers
these days.
To me, those are the reasons of what
may lead us to failure. Now that I have known that, I do believe that I myself
have to move apart of those “bad reasons” just only to give myself another
reason to believe that I can achieve my dreams. Even though sometimes failures
do help us to be stronger, we don’t have to fall that deep into failures to understand
the real meaning of failing.
