Even though it have just arrived today, Saturn did things I have never thought of doing as a turtle.
Saturn started today as an insecure and tiny little dark greened turtle. There are a lot of names to actually consider of giving Saturn at first, but I finally ended up giving him the name Saturn because I have always love the planet saturn itself and it is pretty special to me.
When Saturn arrived about at 4 p.m. at home, I was the first one hectic of finding a bowl for Saturn to live in. Then Saturn comes in panic, unused to the surroundings of the bowl. After that, I let Saturn out of the bowl because he seems very stressed and he tried to always get out of the bowl. When I put him on my table, he directly found his favourite spot at a corner of my table. He got his sleepy mood there and ends up sleeping after I got him back in his bowl.
There's nothing much to tell about Saturn yet since he's new to the house and everything, but Saturn's bowl used to be a fish bowl. It has a little bit of water and sand in it. And since Saturn loves a dry place to sunbathe, I gave him a rock I got when I went to Lombok. Saturn's favourite spot would have to be my table's corner, and he's a pretty fast walker on land. It's funny to see his tiny flippers moved along my table.
Physically, Saturn is a small normal turtle. I could not guess his age because every turtle in the store is as big as Saturn. I don't actually know whether Saturn is a male or female; but let's just assume that Saturn's a he, alright? Saturn have 4 tiny flippers with a quite sharp nails which are lighter colored than his shell. His shell is dark green as I have mentioned earlier. Saturn have this 2 black beady eyes that when I stare at him closely he would stare back and put his head high if I called his name or talk to him about something. I think it's very cute of him.
When Saturn sleeps, he usually stays on the rock I put on his bowl and ate twice a day. Once in the morning before I go to school and once after I came home. He is pretty much active to your acknowledgement. Saturn may be small and cute, but he can be very annoying sometimes.
Everytime Saturn tries to escape his bowl, it was the worse time to ever see from him. Even though that, I want Saturn to have his best life when he is at my home from now on; got his water changed regularly, got his food on time, and got his sunbathing time daily.
I like the way Saturn puts his head high and walk to his favourite corner. To me, it is the way I can differ my little Saturn to any other turtles that ever existed.
As much as I am glad to have Saturn at home today, I can promise you that Saturn will be having pleasant as well life. Welcome home, Saturn, I love you :)
